ESKA Championships report - 14th December 2004

ESKA Championships report - 14th December 2004

KUGB English, Scottish and Welsh Squads attended the European Shotokan Karate-Do Championships in Spain at the end of November. The English team in particular did very well taking two golds, two silvers and four bronzes, together with many getting through to the quarter-finals.

Paul James of Wales also did exceptionally well by taking 4th place in the Senior Individual Kata. Special congratulations to Kelly Perry and Chris Cray for their terrific performances, taking gold in their respective events.

We would like to thank the Spanish Association AKTE and their President Javier Artero Teran for their tremendous hospitality and Dirk and Cathy De Mits for their tireless efforts in directing the events.

Very well done to everyone.
