22nd Spring Karate Course - 30th March 2008

22nd Spring Karate Course

The Spring Karate Course in Devon proved to be a great success this year. The five day course, held in the seaside town of Paignton, was very well attended by students from across the UK. Instructors Andy Sherry, Terry O'Neill, Bob Poynton, Bob Rhodes, Billy Higgins and Frank Brennan were all very impressed by their enthusiasm.

There were two main sessions per day, split into several grade categories, and extra classes were taken by Sensei Sherry for those taking dan gradings later in the month.

Ian MacLaren held four classes of instruction in the use of the Bo and gave a very interesting lecture on various aspects of Karate-do and Karate Jitsu.
