New Mental Health Support Collaboration with the Zachary Geddis Break the Silence Trust

Over the last few weeks, the KUGB has been working diligently to develop a unique partnership with the Zachary Geddis Break the Silence Trust (ZGBTST), providing our members with direct access to mental health support.  We are thrilled to announce that this service will now be available to all KUGB licenced members aged 13+.

The ZGBTST is generously offering this service free of charge, with no waiting lists, allowing our members to access professional mental health support at any time. This is a groundbreaking collaboration, marking the first time a sporting organisation has partnered with a mental health charity to offer such comprehensive care.

How to Access the Service:

Members can access the service via a private referral form. Simply complete the form with your details, including your KUGB licence number, and ZGBTST will reach out within 24 hours to arrange your initial assessment. This can take place via Zoom or telephone, depending on your preference.

Following your assessment, you’ll receive a personalised wellbeing plan, and your weekly sessions with an allocated therapist will begin.

Privacy and Confidentiality:

Please be assured that all information shared with the ZGBTST is kept strictly confidential. The KUGB will have no knowledge of individual referrals or any details of your sessions. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us and the ZGBTST.

Benefits of Counselling:

Counselling can offer numerous benefits, including:

Increased assertiveness
Stronger relationships
Reduced anxiety
Improved self-confidence
Emotional balance
Stress relief
Trauma resolution

This collaboration is an incredible opportunity for KUGB members to access free, professional mental health support without the usual delays associated with waiting lists.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Zachary Geddis Break the Silence Trust for making this possible and look forward to supporting our members’ mental health and wellbeing through this partnership.
