The second and final KUGB Grand Slam of 2025 took place in October and marked the last major test for the Home Nation squads ahead of the upcoming European Championships. With England, Scotland and Wales fielding teams, the event provided coaches with a vital opportunity to assess form, fine-tune selections, and sharpen performance before the European Shotokan Karate-do Association Championships.

With no medals or trophies awarded, the focus remained firmly on technical excellence, tactical awareness, and the honour of representing one’s country. The October Grand Slam delivered exactly what it was designed for: high-level karate and decisive performances.
