The KUGB Northern Region Championships took place yesterday at City Space, Sunderland, showcasing an exciting day of karate competition for all grades and ages, including veterans (40+). This annual event brings together clubs from across the northern region, offering a fantastic opportunity for competitors to test their skills against others in their area. From seasoned international athletes to first-time competitors, the championships provided a thrilling mix of talent, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
John Bruce, KUGB Chair, presented the charity, North East Sight Matters, with a cheque for £3,500 raised by KUGB Clubs.
Congratulations to all the participants – more photos, courtesy of Anthea Brown Photography, can be found on the KUGB facebook page.
