October 2025 – Free Black & Brown Belt Course & Dan Grading – Rhyl

The Black & Brown Belt Course in Rhyl brought together KUGB members from across all regions for a focused day of high-level training. Led by senior KUGB instructors, Sensei Billy Higgins (8th Dan) and Sensei Frank Brennan (8th Dan), the session provided an excellent opportunity for our members to sharpen their technique, strengthen fundamentals, and further develop their understanding of Shotokan Karate.

The instruction was detailed, disciplined, and engaging, with strong emphasis on kata, kihon, and kumite. As always, the standard of effort shown by all attendees was evident throughout.

Well done to everyone who trained, and congratulations to those who successfully graded to Shodan.
