The Southern Region Championships took place yesterday at a new venue, the Riverside Leisure Centre in Reading, making a new chapter for the event.
The event was led by our most senior Referees, Sensei Jim Brennan (8th Dan) and Sensei Rob Welsh (7th Dan), whose expertise was invaluable. We also celebrated the achievements of England squad members, those who attained higher Dan grades, and Sensei Jane Naylor-Jones, who was recently appointed as a KUGB grading examiner.
Thank you to the judges, referees, recorders, timekeepers, and officials whose dedication ensured the smooth running of the championships. A special thank you to the competitors—without you, there would be no championships.
