The KUGB National Students and National Youth Championships took place on Saturday 8th November in Liverpool, showcasing the emerging talent and strong competitive spirit of the next generation of karateka.
The event was overseen by a senior team of officials, ensuring fair, disciplined competition throughout the day. The standard of performance – both in kata and kumite – was a credit to the students, their instructors, and their clubs.
We extend our sincere thanks to all referees, judges, timekeepers, recorders, and officials, whose professionalism and dedication made the event possible.
And most importantly, thank you to the competitors – from first-time entrants to seasoned youth athletes – for demonstrating not only technical ability but also focus, respect, and the true spirit of KUGB Shotokan karate.
Congratulations to all medalists, and well done to everyone who stepped onto the mat. The future of the KUGB looks bright.
