The final Free Black & Brown Belt Course of 2025 took place in Chelmsford this weekend, led by Sensei Jim Brennan (8th Dan) and Sensei Frank Brennan (8th Dan). The event brought together students from across the country to test their skills and progress under the guidance of two of the KUGB’s most senior instructors.
The day began with a comprehensive course focused on technical accuracy, spirit, and understanding – setting the tone for the grading which followed for 1st and 2nd Dan. The standard was high throughout, reflecting the effort and preparation of both students and instructors.
A huge thank you to Sensei Jim and Sensei Frank for their excellent tuition, insight, and guidance – and congratulations to all who passed. Events like this mark not just a milestone in rank, but real growth in character, commitment, and karate spirit.
