KUGB Grading Examiners

The KUGB’s grading examiners play a pivotal role in upholding standards across the organisation’s clubs. This position is both an honour and a responsibility, offering the opportunity to be involved at the highest level in maintaining the technical excellence, discipline, and integrity that define KUGB karate.

As custodians of our grading syllabus, examiners ensure that every student is assessed fairly, consistently, and in line with the high standards we are so proud of. Their work not only safeguards the quality of KUGB karate across the country but also plays a vital part in nurturing the next generation of karateka, supporting the growth and development of our members, clubs, and regions.

The KUGB’s grading examiner structure is designed to maintain these standards:

A Licence holders are authorised to grade up to 6th Dan

B Licence holders are authorised to grade up to 1st Kyu

C Licence holders are authorised to grade up to 8th Kyu.
